Read this poem- questions will follow :)
When God Shuts a Door ~
When God shuts a door, He’ll open another one and you can rest assured He has for you, the right one.
For God won’t let you enter, if it isn’t, His desire for you though you may of thought it was what, you should do.
When God shuts a door, make a mental memo to pray about the reasons you’re in a state of limbo.
For God wants you to learn, to wait on Him and be still so you can find what is His good and perfect will.
When God shuts a door, He’ll open one to go through and you can rest assured Jesus will be waiting for you!
“After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not.
And they passing by Mysia came down to Troas.
And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.”

I mentioned at the end of this week's lesson that I still struggle in my walk with God. It is sometimes difficult for me to stay right behind Him. I tend to want to run ahead of God on many occasions. I believe that when I do this, I am sinning. By running ahead of God I feel like in a sense I am making MYSELF GOD- acting like I KNOW more than HE does!!!
The biggest problem for me is that I don't always KNOW what God wants me to do! He does not always VERBALLY tell me! I have only heard The Lord's voice 3 times in my life.... you can read about that in my post http://biblestoriesfromtheheart.com/2015/05/09/broccoli-car-and-may-oh-my/
Mostly God leads me by shutting and opening doors along my path.
For our discussion this week- I want to hear from YOU about this...
1. How do YOU know God's will?
2. Have YOU ever heard God's voice?
3. Has He ever led you by closing and opening doors?
4. What do YOU do if you are not sure of God's will in your life?
5. Do you ever rush ahead of God and then regret the outcome?
